Ewan Galloway and Derek Hamilton are not only presenters of The Scottish Shindig here on RadioGH but are busy Scottish musicians
playing at dances, ceilidhs, weddings and accordion clubs the length and breadth of the country.
Ewan started the Scottish Shindig programme on TD1 Radio in 2010 bringing his zest for Scottish Dance Music and song to the
internet.
Derek took over presenting the programme when Ewan was otherwise engaged on a Sunday night.
When the opportunity arose Derek investigated producing and streaming the programme to the internet by themselves. Finding a domain to
host the programme, a streaming service to stream the sound live from their home studios in the East and West, putting in place the appropriate licences from PPL/PRS allowing them to legally play the
music. Also designing the website and giving the whole project a professional look was important to the presenter/producers
